The Church Family

When doing a portrait session with a toddler, you have to be

  1. Quick on your feet
  2. Loud and animated
  3. Completely flexible with expectations

especially when asking said toddler to stay awake past her little bedtime for the golden hour lighting that photographers adore. I chased little Riley, I sang to little Riley (apologies to Megan and Brian), and although I was expecting melt downs, there were none! She did so well, eager to explore the beautiful park, look at the turtles and fish, threw pebbles in the ponds, and hang out with her two favorite people in the world.

The hardest part of the session was restraining myself from picking her up and pinching her adorable pink cheeks (cause you know, COVID) but at least I got to zoom in on them a few times 🙂
